That's me!
Patrick Finkbeiner
Full Stack Software Engineer with a passion for mobile apps and AI engineering.
I have been a software developer since 2010 and am a passionate tech enthusiast who took his first steps into the boundless world of software development as a web developer. The thrill of developing innovative solutions from simple lines of code still fascinates me today. My journey started with a simple desire to do something with "computers". Without knowing exactly where this path would lead me, I started my dual studies.
In my professional career, I was always on the lookout for the best possible solution to the problem at hand and was therefore able to learn about numerous technologies instead of limiting myself to what I already knew. This curiosity gave me the considerable advantage of being able to plan new projects and tackle problems efficiently. Thanks to my many years of professional experience, I have a broad knowledge and confident handling of diverse technologies, methods and programming languages.
Today, I use my extensive experience in both frontend and backend development as well as in automated testing and DevOps, ensuring that my creations meet high standards of security, performance and maintainability. Automating my work, using CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, helps me ensure my code quality and protect me from regressions.
A few years ago something came along that I did not want to write off as hype: AI. Generating output is easy these days — the more interesting questions sit behind it: How do I validate what comes out? How do I notice a model is off before it shows up in production? That is where my work starts: integrating LLMs into existing applications in a way that makes sense, connecting them through my own MCP servers to the systems where the data actually lives, and scoring the output automatically against defined criteria instead of simply trusting it. To me AI is a tool that supports me — not one that replaces me. It changes how fast I get to a result, not whether I have to understand what that result is worth.
The core of my work philosophy lies in sustainable solutions. I do not look for "quick fixes", but strive for robust systems that act in a comprehensible way. I strive to deliver optimal results to my clients and am always looking for ways to innovate and improve, always with an eye on the steadfastness and feasibility of what they want from their projects.
